Taking part in the 2024 CUH charity organised London marathon was an incredible experience.

From registration, the CUH team provided support and seamless organisation, allowing me solely to focus on training and preparing for marathon day.

In the months leading up to the marathon, Claire and her team created a dedicated whats app group, keeping everyone informed with essential updates on marathon logistics and offering fundraising tips and support.

On race weekend everything was so well organised that all we needed to do was turn up to Cork Airport; we only had the small matter of 26.2 miles to run… Running over Tower Bridge and down The Mall in aid of CUH was a truly fantastic experience. The craic and few pints with the team afterwards were a real highlight also.

Absolutely, but our package only offers the group flights from Cork. If you wish to travel from somewhere else, or at a different time, that will be at your own cost.

As we have a limited amount of space in the hotel, we are unable to accommodate friends and family in the rooms with runners. As so many people want to experience the London Marathon, we want to give that experience to as many people as possible.

As per the registration form, you are responsible for reaching your target. This target was set so we can ensure we raise as much as possible for equipment and services in CUH & CUMH.
