Why Take Part?
Did you know that over 5,000 people work in CUH and CUMH? It ‘takes a village’ to look after you in hospital.
These people are the hospitals’ hidden heroes. They take thousands of steps every day. They do this so that your friends, family, and loved ones get the best care possible.
This May, we invite you to celebrate the people who make a hospital run by walking in their shoes. You will match their daily step count for a month while raising vital funds for CUH and CUMH. By taking up the challenge you’ll support those in Munster who need the hospitals’ vital services. You’ll help enhance equipment, facilities, and services for both hospitals.

- Choose the hospital worker whose steps you’ll match. Click on their profile to find out more about them.
- On your chosen hospital worker’s page, click the ‘Join Team’ button. Set up your fundraising page for the challenge.
- In May, complete the same number of steps as your chosen hospital worker. Take a look at our FAQs for how to track your steps.
