Cork Team Triumphs at Dr Con Murphy Golf Classic

A talented team of four women golfers claimed victory at the Dr Con Murphy Golf Classic in aid of CUH Charity, held at the picturesque Fota Island Resort. Sponsored by Fehily Timoney and Company, the winning team brought together players from various golf clubs across Cork, becoming the first female team to win the golf classic.

The champions Anne O’Dwyer, Eithna Lawton, Helen Farrow, and Laoise Ní Chonchubhair impressed with their skill and camaraderie, rising above a competitive field to secure the top spot in the charity event, which supports vital services at CUH and CUMH.

The team is set to return this year to defend their title, promising another exciting chapter in this much-loved event.
